The Ministry of Public Health has set up an EOC center in Tak to deal with "cholera" and monitor high-risk areas.

Today (22 December 2014), Dr. Opas Karnkawinpong, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Public Health, spoke about the "cholera" situation in Shwe Kokko, Myawaddy District, Myanmar, saying that Mae Ramat District and Mae Sot District, Tak Province are considered high-risk areas because they are opposite Shwe Kokko, where there are many factories and foreigners living together. In addition, during the New Year, there will be festivities, gatherings, and meals together.
